Please ensure the children have a warm jacket and drink with them at the events, these can be placed in the age group basket – ensure all items are labelled.

A reminder that Zone entry forms (which were in your pack) are due to be returned no later than 11 November 2016. Note: All parents of athletes competing at zone will be required to complete allocated parent duties. Pack collection, zone form entry etc will only be on between 5-6pm.

Under 10′s have high jump at 5.30pm, and must set up the mats prior.

We will have Hurdles for a number of age groups, so we require parents to assist setting up, adjusting height and packing away hurdles.

Athletes must have a parent or carer at the track at all times, under no circumstances can you drop off your child and leave the track, it is not a child minding service and we may need to contact police in event your child doesn’t have a parent or caregiver within the facility at all times. In particular, older athletes, the club will not tolerate the practise of parents dropping off and coming to pick up later in the evening, you risk your membership being suspended.

If you need any assistance, please go to the large green shed or finish line during the night.

A reminder that the last age group at an event must bring in any equipment to the smaller green shed, this also includes starting blocks and safety signs. The long jump pits also need to be covered at the end of the evening.

Each age group requires at least one age manager along with a number of parent helpers. Note: Age managers please share the roles and responsibilities with the parent helpers to enable upskilling of as many parents as possible.

We are all volunteers, any form of abuse towards officials, age managers, children and other parents will be not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the venue.

Bullying of any description will not be tolerated and you may be asked to remove your child from the age group.

No personal training of events on Friday nights.

No ball games, scooters etc. inside the complex, please watch your children at all times and make sure they are not climbing on the equipment such as high jump equipment, nets, soccer posts etc.

As we have throws events including Javelin, Shot Put, Discus etc. you must observe care around these events and under no circumstances cross the field when these events are in progress.
